About Miranda

Miranda Johnson-Haddad is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant who has been in practice since 2003. Miranda's educational and clinical training hours were all completed in-person and under expert mentorship with the prestigious UCSD program and at Providence St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, CA. She has extensive experience working in hospital settings, pediatric offices, support groups, and private consultations. She is passionate about supporting breastfeeding parents and is deeply committed to a kind, nonjudgmental, and no-guilt approach. Miranda believes in helping clients meet their individual goals, and her approach is never “one size fits all.” In addition to being an IBCLC, Miranda holds a Ph.D. in Renaissance Studies and has taught literature at many institutions, including Yale University, Vassar College, Howard University, and UCLA. Miranda is the mother of three young adult children, who were all breastfed.
